I woke up to a very pleasant surprise. Brad had texted me shortly past midnight, but I was asleep so I didn’t get it until my alarms were going off and I checked my phone. I sent out a quick reply, then got up and got some coffee while the computer booted. Once I had my coffee, I got dressed while also getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.
I waited for my free book & paid emails to come in, then took care of those. After that, it was time to check the finances and pay bills. Things were looking better. If I would stay living with Dave for, even just 6-9 months, we would eliminate near, if not all, of our debt.
After the bills were paid, I headed out to go to Aldi for some grocery shopping, stopping at the housing office on the way to drop off rent. I got some food at Aldi, then headed to Walmart. I returned a tabletop TV stand I’d bought, then bought a few things for the Xbox and computer. Next, I went to Taco Bell to grab some lunch, which I took home with me.
By the time I was done eating, there wasn’t much time left before I had to pick Casey up from school. I ended up just getting on Aura Kingdom for a while and messed around there.
I’d sent Brad a few more texts, all related to one another, but never got a reply. The last one was offering to just keep doing what we’d been doing, but kinda “play things by ear.” If he’s willing to keep a future relationship as even a remote possibility, anyway.
I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, then we headed back home. I had him get on the toilet, and I finished up what I was doing on Aura Kingdom.
After dinner, I got on Fallout 76 on the computer for a bit. The difference in performance between the computer version and the Xbox version is incomparable. I would definitely need to get my new Bethesda account unlinked from the Xbox so I can link the “main” account to the Xbox.
I got Casey tucked into bed at the usual time, then went back to the computer for more Fallout. I messed around on there until a little after 10, then I got back on Aura Kingdom until I was ready for bed.
